Welcome!

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Minnie Lahongrais.  I am the author of "Sinner's Ride"  --  currently in production and due to be released soon.  So please, stay tuned!!  I am so very excited and hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!

"Sinner's Ride" is the story of a young girl named Cinnia Lorraine Reems who goes by the name Sinner.  Sinner was born and bred in the Little Italy section of the Bronx in New York City.  In her own voice, Sinner tells the story of what happened to her the night before her eighteenth birthday and the consequences following that life changing event.  After showering in anticipation of her long awaited date with her boyfriend Daniel Hughes, she rests against the wall in her shower, eyes closed when suddenly the shower door slides open.  She opens her eyes to see her father standing before her and is stunned!  Sinner is then assaulted by her father and during their struggle, he falls, hitting his head on the tub and looses consciousness.  Her mind snaps and she makes a life-changing decision. Or does she?  Sometimes your mind will do things to you to protect you.

"Sinner's Ride" will take you on a journey through Sinner's life.  It is a twisty/turny story taking you through her adolescence and into young adulthood.  It is a bittersweet tale involving a diamond heist, a medical emergency, a kidnapping, a few murders and a jaw-dropping ending told by this very determined young lady.  As a matter of fact, don't be surprised if you come across any postings on this page by her, as Sinner has quite a lot to say!

So, hold on tight!  We're going for a ride!

  1. The decision to be made, or the one she makes to protect herself. This sounds deep and exciting.

  2. Sinner. Just the name invokes a thought in my head, albeit it is a nickname. Life changing moments, especially in YA novels are always a good read. Look forward to your updates.
